Strelka+ traffic enforcement systems is a revolutionary solution for continuous automatic traffic control and enforcement. The system detects a wide range of traffic violations of upstream and downstream vehicles in dense traffic flow all through the control zone; the system generates a data package for each vehicle, identifies the location and trace of the vehicle in reference to road marking, performs special police functions, video surveillance, and can be used as an intelligent traffic video detector.

BASIC MODIFICATIONS

Due to the modular structure the system can be configured based on the tasks to be solved, installation site and operation conditions. The system can be installed as a fixed unit.

Video unit

The video unit comprises a camera and a controller. It detects vehicles all along the control zone and generates a data package to be further transmitted to the database for each vehicle.

Radar unit

It is used to measure speed of upstream and downstream vehicles all along the control zone. There are two versions of the radar unit.

GLONASS/GPS unit

Non-volatile unit that enables high accuracy of coordinates and time synchronization.

IR lighting unit

It is used to detect vehicles under any lighting conditions. Depending on the width of the control zone 1 to 5 IR units are used.

Cleaning unit

The intelligent cleaning system is used to mechanically clean the front glass of the camera. It can be equipped with a tank of 5 l or 23 l.

Security unit

Hardware and software security unit that prevents from unauthorized tampering, displacement, network connection with GPS tracing.

Portable

The system is installed on the roof of a car and operates as a fixed unit  

Fixed

The system is installed on a pole/gantry

Mobile

The system is installed in a patrol car and operates as both a fixed and a mobile unit

FEATURES

Speed is measured by three independent algorithms which helps to minimize measurement error rate. Depending on the requirements the system can measure speed by the following three methods (or by all of them at the same time):

  • Video speed measurement;
  • Radar speed measurement;
  • Measuring speed between two adjacent cameras (point-to-point speed).

Scheme 002 en

The acquired data is stored and transmitted safely due to the temporary storage mechanism. The mechanism of RSA-encryption guarantees unauthorized data access protection during its transmission through open channels. The data validity at the stage of its transmission and processing are confirmed with a digital signature. The system can work offline with a secured periodic manual data loading to a portable data storage device.
